It also has marriage and divorce records since May 1947. Earlier records are with County Recorder in county where license was issued or the divorce was granted.

Applicants must provide a copy of their drivers license or other State picture identification. If this is not available, the applicant must provide a copy of two other forms of identification with a signature.
For county marriage records or marriages before May 1947, contact the County Recorder in county where the license was issued.
For county divorce records or divorces before May 1947, contact the County Recorder in county where the divorce was granted.
