* Finding the minimum information for family histories and biographies

To get a copy of a family history or biography, you must at least know the full name of your ancestor and the approximate area (state or county) in which the individual may have lived. If you do not have the minimum information to find a family history or biography, you can either:

* Get help finding some of the minimum information by selecting one of the following items,

Places the family lived

* click the Back button on your browser to return to the list of other places where you can find burial places, or

* read the paragraph below for additional tips.
