to America was originally published as a series of volumes by Scholarly Resources,
Inc. and was the first extensive, indexed source of German surname immigrants.
This data set contains information from Volumes 1 through 31 of the Germans
to America series. Similar information on immigrants who arrived in the U.S.
between 1875 and 1888 is available on Germans to America, Volumes 32-56.
