Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
When you share family history with others today, you're no longer
limited to dusty old books and time-worn photo albums. As your family
research continues, you can present the information in more fun
and elaborate ways. You can create beautiful documents for future
generations, preserving family stories and legends, irreplaceable
certificates, photos, and video. You can design online displays
of your heritage to share with others in your family, and create
cherished heirlooms for the entire family.

and exciting ways families today use computers to make their personal
histories come to life.
